Description
- Body Length: 5.4" - 7.3"
- Weight: 2.75 oz - 4 oz
- Color: Back is reddish-brown with five lengthwise
dark stripes alternating with white. Belly is white.
- Tail is furry, not bushy. Fur is straight and
fine.
Habitat: Deciduous forests and
bushy areas. They live underground in tunnels as long as 15 feet, which are
kept extremely clean.
