head and running down both sides of the back. The tip of the tail may also
be white.
Habitat: Fields
and bushy areas, ravines, and around buildings.
Personality:
- Nocturnal
- Prefers to walk away
from danger, but will spray the fluid from its anal glands as a last resort.
It will give a warning by hissing, stamping its feet, and raising its tail.
A skunk can spray up to 16 feet six times in a row. It takes 10 days to
replenish the supply of fluid.

but is inactive during the winter months
