Season: Summer and fall

Flower: Irregular pink to violet,  with a three lobed lower lip.  Upper lobe of the flower curled back at the edges.  Leaf stalk longer than the green calyx surrounding the base of the flower.

Leaves:  Opposite, toothed, unstalked.

Other facts: 1-3' high
