Family: Parsley family

Location: Dry fields and waste places

Season: Summer and fall

Leaves: Alternate, divided to the point of laciness.

Flower:  Tiny, with 5 regular parts

White, carried in umbels, 2 to 4 inches wide.  There is usually a purple or brown flower in the middle.

Other facts:  Stem is 1 to 3' high and bristly.
