Flower: 1-2" round clusters of 1/4" tubular flowers.  4 stamens and 1 long protruding style.

Leaves:  3-10' shrubby bush with 3-5" ovate, smooth edged, opposite or whorled pointed leaves.

Fruit: Dense ball of seeds about 1" in diameter.
