Flower:  Dark pink, 5 regular parts fused into a saucer-shape.  Clustered around stem, not terminal. 0.25-0.5" wide.  Smaller than Mountain Laurel

Leaves: Shrub, leaves entire, drooping, paler than those of Mountain Laurel

Other facts: 1 '-3' high; Poisonous to livestock.
