WHITE CAMPION (Silene latifolia)

Season: Late spring to fall
Flower: White, 5 deeply notched petals fused at the center; ~ 1" wide. Female flower (left and left, second row) is attached to an inflated, veined calyx. Male flower (below) attached to a more slender calyx.
Leaves: Opposite, entire, fuzzy. Oval or lanceolate.
