Family: Aster family Location: Roadsides to deep woods. Season: Summer Flower: 0.75-1" wide, white with yellow to purple centers. Multiple flowers held in loose flattish cluster at top of plant. Leaves: Lower leaves very sharply toothed and heart shaped, with pointed tip. Foliage tends to be very dark green. Other facts: Plant 1-3' high. Click here for larger pictures. |
